This 30-hour per week position is based in our Chapel Hill, NC office, with occasional work from our Durham office as needed. The flexibility of working remotely is part of the benefit of this position. (must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation).
The ideal candidate is proficient with computer tools, excels in graphic design and marketing, and learns quickly. As a motivated self-starter in a fast-paced environment, strong multitasking and project management skills are crucial. This position oversees marketing clients, managing projects while ensuring smooth company operations. Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
- Handle all administrative duties independently.
- Support the team in maintaining files and records, ensuring broker document compliance.
- Utilize tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, Dotloop, CRM database (Buffini Referral Maker), Canva, and relevant websites and applications.
- Manage team project management by maintaining, reviewing, and updating Trello boards. Point person for the team, coordinating work flow with all.
- Ensure smooth operations and coordination among team members.
- Handle executive correspondence, including drafting, proofreading, and finalizing confidential and non-routine information.
- Be available to go to the office and print marketing materials as needed.
- Collaborate on planning and managing special events, including creating and maintaining event checklists, invitations, and calendars.
- Oversee assigned projects and handle ad hoc requests.
- Perform light QuickBooks and Multiple Listing Services (MLS) work.
- Create Weebly, Wordpress, and/or HPW webpages, including photo galleries, Matterport, nearby maps, links, SEO optimization, etc.
- Prepare email blasts and campaigns in Brevo, using text and photos.
- Design social media artwork for postings in Canva.
- Post property listings across various social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- Capture and produce engaging videos, undertake the editing and optimization of this video content, ensuring its visual appeal and adding closed captioning for enhanced accessibility.
- Assist in setting up local listings in the greater Triangle area, involving tasks such as visiting properties before showings go live to ensure lights are turned on, blinds are open, and informative materials are properly displayed.
- Capture and produce engaging videos, including property walkthroughs, interviews with Carl and other stakeholders, highlights of greater Triangle communities, and special interest areas for social media channels.
- Create, research, and write original content articles, graphics, blogs, etc. for social media and websites. (we have an inhouse writer for big projects should your skillset not include writing articles)
- Maintain and update WordPress websites and/or WordPress pages.
- Develop monthly e-newsletters in Brevo and create graphics in Canva.
- Manage CRM system, including adding new relationships and ensuring information is up-to-date.
- Manage the team's workflow on Trillo.
- Track workflow on Trello.
- Monitor listing stats, engagement, and analytics on posts across social media.
- Handle miscellaneous graphic design tasks, such as birthday or anniversary cards, special projects, etc.
Suggested Qualifications:
- Over 1 year of experience in creating engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise with building WordPress websites; samples of previous work required.
- Proficient working knowledge of various social channels, including best practices tailored to individual platforms.
- Proficiency in using graphic design tools, multimedia production, and video editing tools.
- Prior experience in digital publishing, with a proven ability to generate traffic and engagement.
- High-level proficiency in copywriting for various purposes, including original content, social media, blogs, and websites.
- Experience in tailoring content (both visual and copy) to specific audiences and channels.
- Efficient and organized, showcasing the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also independently managing projects.
- Ability to manage the team as the point person for all projects.
- Task-oriented with a balance of creativity and analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry, trends, and markets is a bonus. Active NC Real Estate License is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. An Associate's Degree or higher in a related field is a bonus.
