Although the monthly supply of Homes for sale had a 16.7% decrease, the Housing Affordability Index experienced a 21.3% increase. Person County saw an 11.1% increase in new listings in the month of September. Although closed sales experienced a 43.2% decrease, the median sales price had a 22.2% increase with average sales price at 13.2%. Durham County saw a 1.8% increase in new listings in the month of September, while also having a 7.6% increase in closed sales. Although the average sales price saw a 1.9% diminish. the median sales price experienced a 5.6% increase. Wake County witnessed a remarkable 12.6% surge in new listings. Closed sales saw a downtick of 5.6%, while the median sales price had a 0.2% change in status. In Orange County, new listings diminished by 13.9%.
