Original Content By Carl Johnson Latta Park has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Construction for this project was initially set to start within a year of it being rezoned in 2021, however construction was delayed due to ascending costs and interest rates. Although Latta Park had a slow start in its formation, once finished, it will be well worth the wait! This 30-acre development will include nearly 200,000 townhomes, walking trails, and a Publix grocery market. Townhomes have been estimated to start in the $200,000's, however, according to Latta Park's developer, Crosland Southeast, 5% of those homes will be aided for affordable housing. Developer, Crosland Southeast also makes plans to make sure the Latta Park project incorporates major improvements to existing and new roadways. The goal is to reduce delays at intersections and additional traffic in the Latta Park, North Durham area.
The hope is to establish a unified and peaceful community, with enjoyable amenities, and beautiful green scenery to enjoy with your friends and family. Visit the official website for Latta Park to learn more about this project and see more of what's to come!
