Beth Schmidt Park also is the location of the Heritage Place Community Center which is a popular indoor/outdoor rental facility. If you are looking for another special place to rent out and host a fun event out, check out the Loy Homestead Garden also within the Beth Schmidt Park area.
Right by Downtown Elon you can find Lawrence Slade Park. This park includes walking trails, basketball court, picnic shelter areas, a playground, and even a bocce ball court.
