With a population of over 17,000 and growing, the City of Graham is a fun, up-and-coming town that is putting effort into becoming a place you want to live, love, and work in. Located in Alamance County, West of The Triangle, you can find a business and art district that is supported by its community as well as local governments.
A town rich in history and built by hard laborers, Graham's industry has been a way of life for years. Textile Mills and Cotton Mills were large employers of the area in the 1800s and set the groundwork for the hard-working small-town feel. To learn more about the city’s history check out the Graham Historical Museum which is housed in the town's old Fire House (https://www.cityofgraham.com/arts-culture/)

Graham’s convenient location to Interstate 40 and 85 makes it a great location to get to other towns such as Durham and Greensboro quickly. The city of Graham also has the best that the great outdoors of North Carolina has to offer. Graham-Mebane Lake is under 15 minutes away from downtown giving you access to year-long boating, fishing, hiking, and more. The 650-acre reservoir is a fun place for anyone to enjoy. “As a source for recreation, Graham-Mebane Lake offers sport fishing, boating, skiing, paddle sports (stand-up paddleboards are welcomed), bank fishing, and picnicking. The facility features a marina office where sales of user permits, bait, fishing supplies, concessions, and paddle vessel rentals are performed. A seven-lane boat ramp offers ample space for loading and retrieving several boats at once. There are two docks for securing boats and a kayak launch with handrails and rollers for easy launching of kayaks and canoes. The bank fishing area features approximately 1000 feet of shoreline, two fishing piers, multiple fish attractors, picnic tables, and a shelter. The Lake offers several tournaments and family programs throughout the year; however, no swimming or wading is allowed” (GRPD Lake - City of Graham, NC).
