In the Ginormous space, guests find an intriguing child’s bedroom where small things have become large and large things have become gigantic. Guests enter under a giant chair, can climb inside an oversized chest of drawers and slide into a huge laundry basket.
A two-story carousel gives up to 76 guests a chance to ride chariots or fantasy horses, dolphins, alligators and seahorses.
Children visiting the museum can even go to Mars. The Mars Academy offers children a chance to imagine that they are on a deep space module as they service a Mars terrain vehicle and study rocks from the terrain.
They have STEAM labs, art studios, water works, a cinema room, a hall of mysteries and even more! The fun and learning are endless at the Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum.

Another new construction building in High Point that is driving visitors is the design and opening of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame building. High Point is known as the Home Furnishing Capital of the World for a reason. Due to its location of local railroads and proximity to timber, High Point in the 1800’s established furniture manufacturers early on with the goals to be as grand as those designers in major US cities. Post the Great Wars, the American people turned to High Point for this quality and skills in home furnishings and High Point quickly became a trusted name in the industry. High Point Market is also a major reason for the continued success of the local industry as well as city growth. For one week in April and then again in October, the High Point Market, which is a 11,000,00+ sq showroom, will pool people from all over the world to showcase yearly and seasonal happenings in the furniture design world. But the events don’t stop at the Market, you can find activities, food specials, concerts, networking, workshops, and more all throughout the city, this is the place to be! The Hall of Fame building highlights the history of the City of High Point as well as Home Furnishings across America.
