Carl Made home-buying Fun!

My wife and I were new to the Chapel Hill area and we were renting a home while we learned a little about the place. After living here for seven months we began to go to Open Houses with the intention of looking to buy in a particular school district, as education of our two sons is important to us. Luckily we ran into Carl Johnson at one of the first Open Houses. We had met a lot of Agents at that time but Carl seemed to us to be on his game and very familiar with the area. 

We decided to sign up with Coldwell Banker Advantage and Carl after meeting at his offices a second time. We sure are glad we did this. My wife and I had particular points of interest in what we wanted in a house, besides the school districts, and it wasn’t easy for us to find what we wanted. In no time at all, it seemed, we had seen several places that were right for us, thanks to Carl. Not only did we find a primary residence but we also found an investment property that fit us as well! That’s the point at which Carl really helped us. 

From strategies on bidding to getting the right due diligence people and negotiating some abatements, Carl was there for us the whole way, meeting face to face, on the phone or texting each other as the need arose. We were successful on both bids! Carl then helped us through the Closing Process and he even had lists of vendors for some repairs and/or changes we were contemplating. 

Best of all, Carl is a very affable person, very helpful and really friendly. We had fun! In what is usually a very anxious process of buying a new home. Carl has even offered to host a Housewarming Party once we get settled in to our New Home later this Summer!
