Cary developer, Pranay Parekh, has officially submitted an application to Chatham County for a luxury development spanning over 130 acres near the picturesque Jordan Lake. The proposal seeks to rezone the area for a lower density, meaning fewer houses on bigger plots, giving everyone lots of space.

Nestled at 739 Hatley Road, just north of Highway 64, Parekh envisions an enclave of 25 meticulously designed single-family homes. Each residence will boast generously proportioned homesites, ranging from a minimum of three acres to an impressive average of five acres, creating an idyllic setting for luxurious living, as detailed in the application.

While still in the initial stages of planning, Parekh envisions a project akin to the Hills of Rosemont in Durham, known for its multi-million-dollar properties. Exact square footage and pricing details remain pending. Parekh is teaming up with skilled local custom homebuilders to make his vision a reality.

This is all part of a trend of high-end homes popping up in Chatham County, especially around Pittsboro and Fearrington where land prices offer a favorable advantage over the Triangle's central counties of Wake and Durham.
